Hanna

Benny and I got to take Bennett on an outdoor excursion last weekend at my parents' land in Hanna, OK. There was much fun had by all. Some of Bennett's top moments:

Getting to hold some hunted ducks
Pancakes
"Hunting" for deer with Uncle Ben
Riding 4-wheelers
Making sand angels on the beach of the river
finding a turtle shell
brownies

Some documentation:

It looks like Bennett and Ben were the only ones on the trip, but Mom, Dad, and Grant also made an appearance. I love living close to our families. (We're Wichita bound this weekend!)

Bonus - my family is full of some pretty impressive artists

You didn't think I was going to write a whole post without mentioning this baby that I'm currently obsessed with, did you?

Baby is a lemon. Which is strange to me, cause I thought a peach was bigger than a lemon.

She's such a peach.

Baby is a peach! And I've been calling her a "she" for now. But if you ask Ben, he'll call him a "he".

I've been debating whether or not to do the "belly bump pics." I use to think that was weird, but now that I'm pregnant, I want to see every bump I can get my hands on. Seriously, it's so strange/obsessive. Sometimes Ben will  look over at my computer and I'll be reading some random person's pregnancy blog. And when I say random, I mean - I found their blog from a google search.

Interview Season? Check!

I took a half-day off work today to take Benny to the airport (only after a lunch date at Qdoba first). This is a very special trip to the airport, because it marks the last trip of residency interviews! You see, interviews are bitter sweet. Without them, we would be in some big trouble, with no where to live or work. But, selfishly, I have HATED Ben being gone so much; and I know he is so sick of traveling. In approximately 5 to 6 months, and Lord willing, we will be moving to one of these lovely cities:

Indianapolis, Indiana
Louisville, Kentucky
Omaha, Nebraska
Columbus, Missouri
Houston, Texas
Jackson, Mississippi
St. Louis, Missouri
Springfield, Illinois
New York City, New York
Salt Lake City, Utah
Dallas, Texas
San Antonio, Texas
and last but certainly not least
*** OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA***

Can you tell which is my first pick?

In other news, Baby is a plum now.

Happy New Year!

I hope you and yours had a special Christmas, and a happy New Year. The break went by WAY too fast if you ask me. Ben and I got to spend our two weeks between Edmond, Wichita, and Henryetta. It was so wonderful. Most of my days consisted of sleeping till at least 10 o'clock, and taking an afternoon nap around 2 or 3. So perfect - not to mention all of the great family time!

Some of my favorite gifts I received this year: a rocking chair, swaddling blankets, and lots of maternity clothes!

This summer didn't seem crazy enough (graduating, moving, new job) - So we decided to add another one of life's most exciting/stressful events: A NEW BABY!!

I didn't think it was possible to love one little lime-sized baby so much.
Now if I could just stop throwing up...
